The division of labour

What you provide. What we handle.

Each pathway has its own paperwork rhythm. Here's how the work splits between you and the preparer assigned to your file.

Your side

What you provide

  • Principal applicant's DTV (scan)
  • Marriage certificate (legalised) or birth certificate
  • Your own passport (six months validity or more)
  • Criminal-record clearance certificate
  • Proof of legal residence, if you are applying outside your country of citizenship
  • Joint or family funds proof
Our side

What we handle

  • We bundle your file with the principal's so the embassy can match them. Legalisation of marriage/birth certificates is included in the Concierge tier; Checked covers everything else.
From intake to approval

The dependants timeline, day by day.

Every file we have prepared on this pathway since launch has followed broadly this rhythm. Posts vary — Berlin asks for more than London does — but you no longer get to pick between them: since 31 August 2026 your file goes to the Thai mission covering your country of citizenship, or a country where you hold provable legal residence. The median application moves through these phases on the schedule below.

i
Week 1

Doc legalisation

We arrange the apostille or consular legalisation.

ii
Week 2

File assembly

Mirror the principal's pack with the dependant evidence.

iii
Week 3-4

Embassy decision

Median 10-14 working days.
