01 · The agreement
These terms govern your use of thaivisapro.com and the application-preparation services provided by Thai Visa Pro. By instructing us to prepare a Destination Thailand Visa file, or by creating an account on this site, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you are instructing us on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that the company or person will also be bound by these terms. We may amend these terms from time to time; the version in force at the date you instruct us is the version that governs that instruction.
02 · What we do
Thai Visa Pro prepares Destination Thailand Visa submission files. The service includes pathway selection, document checklists, drafted cover letters, formatted bank statements, two senior reviews and, where requested, lodgement support at the relevant consulate or via the official e-visa portal. The exact scope of work for your file is set out in the order confirmation we send when you engage us.
We do not make the visa decision. The visa decision is made solely by the Royal Thai Embassy or consulate, or by the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the e-visa system. We cannot guarantee an approval and any statement we make about the likelihood of approval is an opinion based on our experience of comparable files, not a promise.
03 · What we don't do
Thai Visa Pro is not a law firm, an immigration adviser regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner, or an agent of the Royal Thai government. We do not provide legal advice on Thai law or UK law. Where your situation requires legal advice — for example, dual nationality questions, complex tax-residency planning or commercial structuring — we will refer you to a qualified adviser.
We do not handle in-country immigration matters in Thailand other than the on-shore extension play described in our services schedule. We do not provide tax advice, accountancy services, work-permit applications or property purchase support. Adjacent services that we are sometimes asked about are signposted to a small list of trusted independent firms, none of which pays us a referral fee.
04 · Your responsibilities
Your file is only as accurate as the information and documents you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that everything you give us is true, complete and current. You are responsible for telling us, in writing, about any material change in your circumstances between engagement and submission — for example, a change of job, a marriage, a hospital admission or a planned departure date.
You are responsible for paying the embassy fee directly to the relevant consulate or e-visa portal. You are responsible for any travel, accommodation or postage cost associated with an in-person submission. If you provide documents that turn out to be inaccurate, our preparation fee is not refundable and any consequential rejection is at your risk.
05 · Fees and payment
Our fees are listed on the pricing page and confirmed in the order confirmation we send when you engage us. Fees are payable in advance, by card or bank transfer. The full fee is due before we begin substantive work on your file. We may, at our discretion, offer a payment plan for higher-tier engagements; if so, the plan terms will be set out in the order confirmation.
Where our refund policy applies (see the separate refund policy document), refunds are issued within ten working days to the original payment method. We do not issue refunds where the application has been submitted and is in the consulate's hands, save in the narrow circumstances described in the refund policy.
06 · Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any single engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us under that engagement. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from a visa rejection, a delayed processing time, a change in Thai visa policy, or any other circumstance outside our reasonable control. Where you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by this clause.
07 · Intellectual property
All content on thaivisapro.com — articles, guides, checklists, cover-letter templates and tools — is owned by Thai Visa Pro or licensed to us. You may read and print individual pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute, or use the content commercially without our prior written consent. Drafted cover letters and pathway memos produced for your engagement are licensed to you for use in your DTV application only.
08 · Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement at any time before submission, in writing. If you terminate after we have begun work, the unused portion of any preparation fee is refundable in accordance with the refund policy. After submission, the engagement is effectively complete; we will deal with consulate correspondence in your name until the application is decided.
We may terminate immediately if we discover that information provided to us is materially false, if you are sanctioned under UK sanctions law, or if continuing the engagement would put us in breach of professional, legal or regulatory obligations. In any of those cases the preparation fee is not refundable.
09 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, save that where you are a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
